Windows - The good, the bad and the ugly.
I, like many other people who wish to improve their
computer's Operating System (OS). So I get the next version of Windows. In my case
(This time) was Windows XP. The Good, After installing this version, I found
that it was more user friendly, booted system and programs much faster and some
programs even worked better. The bad, I lost my scanner and my CD-RW due to the
wrong drivers I suspect. First things first though, I’ll have to hunt those
down later. Now, for the ugly. After a good day of working great, not counting
the two pieces of inoperative hardware. The computer decides to shut down and
start this endless cycle of re-booting. So here is where the many hours of
research comes into play. Lucky I have another computer with Internet access.
